If you
are 18 years of age, you will be fulfilling your
legal and civic obligation and stay eligible for federal
student loans and grants for college, state aid for
college in many states, government jobs, vocational job
training, and U.S. citizenship for male immigrants
seeking citizenship.
You can register online at
www.sss.gov or see your Guidance Counselor or Career
Specialist.
ASVAB
To obtain your ASVAB test results and interpretation of those results go to www.asvabprogram.com
You can also visit your Career Specialist or Guidance Counselor to schedule a time to speak to a Military Recruiter for more information about your scores and find out about jobs in the Armed Forces that will fulfill your career goals. Even if you do not join the military, many times the career that aligns with your test results may be a career you would be like to pursue as a civilian. Check it out!
